Each XE filter pad contains a special blend of carefully selected and prepared bleached cellulose fibers, non-hazardous filter media and approved/tested resins to provide a filter media with outstanding filtration capacity and excellent wet and dry handling. XE filter pads are widely used in the filtration of products where excellent purity and stability, as well as filter pad life and integrity are important considerations. Typical applications for XE pads include wines, beers, spirits where long life, sterility, stability and purity are essential. XE pads are also accepted in other areas such as non-alcoholic beverage concentrates, gelatins and cosmetics, and the filtration of intermediates and final products in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
